HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-6-209786 v ORDINANCE NO. 81-6-2097 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT TENTH AND FLOURNOY STREETS, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on May 6, 1981, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 10TH AND FLOURNOY STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Com- mission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agree- ment with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone to M-1, Light Industrial Zone: Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerlines of North loth -Street anti- Flournoy Street; `thence ` h"a 'south&13t direction and with the centerline of Flournoy Street' 150 feet; thence at right angles �anfl in a we-steriy direction 70 €eet;' tYierice at right' angles and in a northerly direction 150 feet to the centerline of North 10th Street; thence in an easterly direction and with the centerline of North 10th Street 70 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
