ORDINANCE NO. 81-6-2096
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF FLORENCE & HUTCHESON,
INC . , CONSULTING ENGINEERS, FOR DESIGN AND PREPARATION OF THE PERKINS
CREEK SANITARY SEWER PROJECT AND PLAN REVISIONS AND ADDITIONS FOR 8TH
STREET SANITARY SEWER PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH DESIGN AND PREPARATION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the proposal of Florence &
Hutcheson, Inc . , Consulting Engineers, for design and preparation of the Perkins
Creek Sanitary Sewer Project, and for Plan Revisions and Additions for the 8th
Street Sanitary Sewer Project; said proposal being in substantial compliance with
the proposal Asubmitted by Florence and Hutcheson, Inc., dated June 8, 1981.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Florence & Hutcheson, Inc., according to the letter and
Agreement for Engineering Services attached hereto and made a part hereof, as
if fully set out herein.
SECTION 3. The cost for said services covered by this Agreement
and proposal shall. be charged to Sewer Depreciation and Extension Account. .
SECT -ION 4. . Due to -the necessity of providing sewers for these
Projects as soon as possible,, an emergency is hereby declared to .exist and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effective upon its passage at one
reading.
