ORDINANCE NO. 81-5-2090
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF G. B. GUESS FOR PARTS
TO REPAIR THE 1980 DOZER USED ON THE CITY'S LANDFILL AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST
WHEREAS, mechanical problems have arisen with the 1980 dozer used on
the City's landfill, and
WHEREAS, it is imperative that this equipment be repaired and returned
to service as soon as possible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the proposal of G. B. Guess
in the amount of $6,720'.001 for parts to repair the 1980 Dozer used on the Landfill.
SECTION 2. The purchase for said repair parts shall' be charged to
General Fund Account No. 3509.
SECTION 3. Due to the necessity of covering refuse daily, an emergency
is declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon its passage.
