AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO ENTER INTO A LEASE WITH RIVER CITY MISSIONS, INC., FOR LEASE
OF CERTAIN -CITY -PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF THE 600 BLOCK OF
SOUTH FIFTH
STREET IN THE
CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY

IT ORDAINED BY
THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, .
authorized and directed to enter into a Lease with River City Missions, Inc., for
lease of certain city property located in the vicinity of the 600 block of South
Fifth Street, for the sum of $1.00 per annum, said property more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the east right-of-way line of 5th Street
-138.75 feet north of the north right-of-way line of Ohio -Street;
thence in a northerly direction with the east right-of-way line
of 5th Street a distance of 34.5 feet to a point; thence in an
easterly direction and parallel with Ohio Street a distance of
165 feet to a point in the west right-of-way line of a 16.5 foot
alley; thence in a southerly direction with the west right-of-
way line of said alley a distance of 34.5 feet to a point; thence
in a westerly direction and parallel with Ohio Street a distance
of 165 feet to the, point of beginning.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of Paducah by
Curtis Langston and wife, Edna Langston, as recorded on
September 28, 1976 in Deed Book 586, page 806, in the McCracken.
County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. The Corporation Counsel is directed to review and
approve the lease.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
