ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20756 OF THE
CODE OF
ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PERTAINING TO A
PENALTY
FOR LATE
PAYMENT OF MOTOR_ VEHICLE LICENSES
„ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 20-56,. Penalty for Late Payment .of Motor Vehicle
Licenses be, and it .is hereby, amended so that said_. section_ as amended shall .here-
after read as _follows:
"Sec. 20756. Penalty. for late payment..
If the license fee or tax required by _Sections 20-51 through 20-55
{this --f rt'irfe} is not paid within thirty (30) days after {before) -the applicable date
as set forth in Section 20-.55, _there shall be added thereto a penalty of Five
Dollars ($5.00) for passenger _vehicles and trucks and Two, Dollars and 50 cents
($2.50) for motorcycles".
SECTION 2. Due to .an urgent need to correct an inequitable, application
of license penalty, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this, ordinance
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon .adoption.
