AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1-9-13 OF CHAPTER 19,
MISCELLANEOUS OFFENSES, AND PROVISIONS - - - - -
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY -
SECTION
1. -That
Section 19-13 of Chapter- 19,
Miscellaneous Offenses
and Provisions,.._be
amended
and. xeordained so that -said
Section -as amended
and reordain.ed.. shall hereafter.. read. as ..follows:.. .
Sec. 19-11. ,Shooting --BB.,, pellet-,,-: etc;, gun prohibited.
.(a) The, shooting, of ;a., BB- gun,, 7pellet gun .or any (simiiar )fir,earm,
as defined by KRS 527.010,-{gmr} in the city is hereby pro-
hibited and. (-it s$all,-b-e}-unlawful-,
(b) The Chief of Police is.- hereby authorized to --issue- - permits for . -.
firing ranges within the City and shooting on approved firing
.rariges..,with ; permission,, pf , the owner -or operator of the firing
range shall not be unlawful under sub -section ' (a) of Section 19-13.
(c) Any person found guilty of violating the provisions of this
section shall, be guilty, of .a violation -{nrisd-_Jnean=-)_and-.shall, -
upon conviction thereof, be fined not more than Two hundred
fifty dollars ($250 00),--{i.ess-than-five--doi-lar-s-($5 :.09) -nor
{twenty-five -(-2r; {}p} for each offense . "
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will be effective upon publication in full.
