ORDINANCE NO. 81-4-2076
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF AN ALLEY LOCATED
100 FEET NORTH OF BURNETT AND NORTH SEVENTH STREETS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing
of an alley located 100 feet north of Burnett and North Seventh Streets in the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of property owned by Patsy R.
Mas.sey,. said beginning:.point..is. 100 -feet west of the west right-
of -way line of Burnett Street and lies in the east right-of-way
line, of a-30foot_alley;_ thence., in a westerly direction a distance
of 30 feet to a point in the west right-of-way line of said 30
,.foot_.all.ey.,;..,thence._in..a northerly_.direction.;.with_..the west right
of -way line of said alley 90 feet to a point; thence in an easterly
direction__a..distance of _.30,.feet..to_-a- point,_in- the -east ,right-of-way
line of said alley; thence in a southerly direction with the east
right-of-way_ line_ of_ said alley a distance. of 90, feet. to the. point .
of beginning.
Said 30 foot alley lies between 7th Street, 8th Street, Burnett
Street and -Flournoy Street in. Block 39;,
SECTION, -.2 . _ -That, the . Corporation Counsel. of -the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to_. .. -
institute -and prosecute, .,pursuant, to KRS 94.360,...an, action in McCracken. Cir-
cuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the alley described -in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
