AN ORDINANCE -AUTHORIZING WALKER- BOAT YARD, -INC. TO MAKE
NECESSARY REPAIRS TO THE 3972 WARD-LaFRANCE- PUMPER- -FIRE TRUCK - -
_. BE IT,-; -ORDAINED .BY. -THE. CITY- OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION J. _ That, the City -of -Paducah., accept= the. quotation- off :.Walker
Boat -.Yard,. Inc.. , to make necessary repairs to the 1972- Ward-LaFrance pumper
fire truck, for the sum- of Three Thousand Two -Hundred Dollars- ($3,.200.00),
which_ truck --is now- in thegarage.- and -is in-. need of more extensive repairs
than the City is able- to =make. - Walker Boat Yard -is the -only ;local available
source for making the necessary repairs.
SECTION -:-2- That the
Mayor -is
hereby
authorized to enter into a
contract with Walker Boat Yard,
Inc . , for
making
the necessary repairs as
authorized in.Se.ction.
1._above; and the Mayor is
further
authorized to make
an -addendum
to -the-contract for additional- sums
as may
be. determined neces-
sary;. by-the..Mayor. _for the .repair .. of the. pumper fire -;truck.-
SECTION 3. In order to protect the public safety, an •emergency.;.1s

and is effective immediately upon passage by the Board_ of Commissioners. -
