ORDINANCE NO. 81-3-2064
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF ALL SUMS
RECEIVED PURSUANT TO GRANTS FOR A TRANSIT AUTHORITY IN THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah on behalf of the Transit Authority
of the City of Paducah is the recipient of Grants for a transit authority in the
City of Paducah, and
WHEREAS , a portion of the grant funds have been received by the
City of Paducah.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION '1. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to transfer
to the Transit Authority of the City of Paducah all sums heretofore or here-
after received by the City pursuant to grants for the Transit Authority.
SECTION 2. Due to the imminent need of the Transit Authority of
the City of Paducah to receive funds, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance shall be effective immediately upon passage at one meeting.
