AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF SUN ELECTRIC
CORPORATION FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ELECTRONIC TESTING EQUIP-
MENT TO BE USED BY THE VEHICLE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the proposal of Sun
Electric Corporation for sale to the City of Electronic Testing Equipment, to
be used by the Vehicle Maintenance Department, for the sum of $3,940.00;
said proposal being in substantial compliance with the proposal authorized by
Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on February 10, 1981 and as
contained in the proposal of Sun Electric Corporation, dated February 15, 1981.
'SECTION "2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Sun Electric Corporation for the testing equipment
authorized in Section 1 above, according to'the specifications and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated' -in the bid.
SECTION 3.- The purchase price for said equipment shall -be charged
to Public Works Cumulative Reserve Fund (Bond) .
SECTION- 4. -This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
