HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-2-2056It] ORDINANCE NO. 81-2-2056 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET- CADILLAC, INC . , FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE PICKUP TRUCKS TO BE USED BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, FOR THE SUM OF $18,375.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for sale to the City of three (3) pickup trucks to be used by the Refuse Department, for the sum of $19,475.25 less $1,100.00 for trade-in of a 1971 Ford Pickup and a 1971 and 1973 Chevrolet pickup, making a net bid of $18,375.00; said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on January 17, 1981 and as contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc., dated February 9, 1981. SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc . , for the trucks authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said trucks shall be charged to Federal Revenue- Sharing Account No. 3514. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
