AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $236,200.23 TO
THE TRANSIT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah on behalf of the Transit Authority of the
City of Paducah is the recipient of Grant No. ME-073-MASS-0000941-RPTO-731 (001)
in the sum of $235, 511. 00, and Grant No. MM-073-MASS-0000503-RPTO-731 (003)
in the sum of $689.23, making a total of $236,200.23, and
WHEREAS, the grant funds have been received by the City of Paducah.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to transfer
to the Transit Authority of the City of Paducah the sum of $236,200.23 which
was received by the City pursuant to a grant for the Transit Authority.
SECTION 2. Due to the imminent need of the Transit Authority of the
City of Paducah to receive the above mentioned funds, an emergency is hereby.
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be effective immediately upon pass-
age at one meeting.
