ORDINANCE NO. 81-1-2049
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BROOKS CONTAINER SERVICE,
INC . , FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ITS REQUIREMENTS OF REFUSE CONTAINERS
FOR 1981
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Brooks Con-
tainer Service, Inc., for furnishing the City with its requirements of refuse con-
tainers for the year 1981, said bid having unit prices as follows:
2 yard containers $245.00 each
4 yard containers $380.00 each
6 yard containers $465.00 each
8 yard containers $497.00 each
Said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertise-
ment for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Com-
missioners on December 9, 1980, and as contained in the bid of Brooks Container
Services, Inc . , dated December 15, 1980.
SECTION '2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Brooks Container Service, Inc . , for furnishing said refuse
containers as authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the
bid.
SECTION 3..-. The purchase price for said refuse containers shall be
charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title...and a certified summary thereof.
