HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-1-20452 ORDINANCE NO. 81-1-2045 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE WITH THE CIVIC BEAUTIFICATION BOARD FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY, FOR THE MARKET HOUSE BUILDING SITUATED ON SOUTH SECOND STREET BETWEEN BROADWAY AND KENTUCKY AVENUE, FOR A PERIOD OF TIME FROM DECEMBER 19, 1980 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1985 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute a lease between the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the Civic Beautification Board for the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the Market House Building situated on South Second Street between Broadway and Kentucky Avenue for a period of time from December 19, 1980 to December 31, 1985, and at a rental of One Dollar per year, and said lease shall provide that either party may terminate the lease upon thirty (30) days written notice, and that no part may be underlet without the written approval of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah. Said lease shall further provide that the Lessee pay for all utilities and ordinary repairs and maintenance to said property. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
