ORDINANCE NO. 84-12-2624
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING`THE QUOTE OF BLACK 'EQUIPMENT CO., INC-. IN THE AMOUNT
OF $15,990:00, FOR SALE T -0 -THE CITY OF TWO CUSHMAN VEHICLES FOR USE BY`TH.E REFUSE
DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
WHEREAS, Black Equipment Co., Inc. is the only supplier in this area for
3 -wheel Cushman vehicles; and
WHEREAS,,non-competitive negotiations are being implemented -and the Mayor is
authorized to accept the quotation of Black Equipment Co.,. Inc.- and enter into,a
contract for the purchase of two (2) Cushman vehicles.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the quote -of Black Equipment Co.,
Inc. in the amount of $15,990.00, for sale to the City of two (2) 3 -wheel Cushman
vehicles for use by the Refuse Department.
SECTION 2. That the.Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Black
Equipment.Co., Inc. for'sale to the City of two Cushman vehicles authorized in Section
1 above.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said parts shall be charged to Account No.
20-500-420-514.
SECTION 4.. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publ-ication of title and a certified summary thereof.
