ORDINANCE NO. 84-12-2623
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE QUOTE OF MUNICIPAL EQUIPMENT, INC. IN THE AMOUNT
OF $17,576.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO TRIDENT VEHICLES. FOR USE BY THE REFUSE
DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
WHEREAS, Municipal Equipment:, Inc. is the only supplier in this area for
3 -wheel Trident vehicles; and
WHEREAS, non-competitive=negotiations are being implemented -and the Mayor is
authorized to accept the. quotation of Municipal Equipment, Inc. and enter into a
contract for the purchase of two (2) Trident vehicles.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the quote of Municipal
Equipment, Inc. in the amount of $17,576.00, for sale to .the City of two (2) 3 -wheel
Trident vehicles for use by the Refuse Department.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Municipal
Equipment, Inc. for sale to the City of two Trident vehicles authorized in Section 1
above.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said parts shall be charged to Account
No. 20-500-420-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
