ORDINANCE NO. 84-12-2620
AN;ORDINANCE.AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AND COVENANT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF.PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,:AND BARBARA A. HOWARD
WHEREAS, Barbara A.. Howard is the owner of a tract of land adjoining
a parcel of land owned by the City of Paducah on S. 4th Street near Husbands
St., and
WHEREAS, Barbara A.. Howard.has-requested from the City of Paducah
�\ permission to use a portion of the land which is designated for utility lines
for ingress,-egres.s and parking purposes.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY'OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a lease and
covenant with Barbara A. Howard to use a portion of City owned land on S. 4th
Street for ingress, egress and parking:. No storage of impounded vehicles shall
be allowed on this property._
SECTION 2`. Said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof
as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 3. In order:to implement this .agreement as soon as possible
so that the leasee may complete.construction of this project, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective with one
reading.
