ORDINANCE NO. 84-11-2608
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF J. R. SULLIVAN'S CO., INC. IN THE AMOUNT
OF $6,299.50, FOR,SALE-TO THE CITY 'OF'TWO NEW YAZ00 RIDING MOWERS FOR USE BY THE
PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE;MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY.THE:CITY OF PADUCAH,:KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1—That the -City of Paducah accept:the.bid of J. R. Sullivan's
Co., Inc.,. in the amount of $6,299.50, for sale to the City of two new Yazoo 48"
riding mowers to be used by the Parks and Recreation Department, said bid being in
substantial compliancewith the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was
authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on September 25,
1984, and as contained in the bid of J. R. Sullivan's Co., Inc., dated October 15,
1984.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be'authorized to execute a contract with J. R.
Sullivan's Co., Inc. for sale to the City of two new Yazoo 48" riding mowers
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications-, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated -in the bid.
SECTION 3. -The purchase price for said riding mowers shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-6.10-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
