ORDINANCE NO. 84-10-2604
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $4,000:00 TO PURCHASE ONE'USED LEAF MACHINE.FROM'RAYMOND CLAYTON OF
WEST 'FRANKFORT, ILLINOIS -;-FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT'
WHEREAS, this machine is valued at $16,000.00 and was used for one
season'by the City of Herrin, Illinois, before discontinuance -'of their'leaf
program; and
WHEREAS, the price of this machine is $4;000.00 with the trade-in of

a E952 Case backhoe owned by the City of Paducah.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,- KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with
Raymond Clayton for the purchase of one used leaf machine to'be used, by :the
Street Department. The purchase price_-forsaid used =leaf machine is $4,000.00;
with the trade-in of a 1972 Case backhoe owned by the City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. The purchase price for said leaf machine shall be charged
to Account No. 20-500-330-514.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
