ORDINANCE NO. 84-10-2600
AN ORDINANCE:AUTHORIZING.THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE -AND COVENANT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF PADUCA%- KENTUCKY, AND ST. FRANC.IS.deSALES CHURCH, DIOCESE OF OWENSBORO,
WHEREAS, St. Francis deSales Church, Diocese of Owensboro, is the owner of certain
real property located on the south side of Broadway Street near Sixth Street,"and
WHEREAS., this location does not provide sufficient space for the construction of
an exterior masonry wall, and
-WHEREAS, St.;Francis deSales Church, Diocese of Owensboro, hasrequestedfrom the
City of Paducah permission_to:use a portion of land which is designated as a sidewalk for
the construction of a front entry masonry wall.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a lease and covenant with
St. Francis deSales Church, Diocese of Owensboro to use a portion of City owned land for a
location of a front entry masonry wall.
SECTION 2.. Said agreement is attached hereto and made apart hereof as if fully
set out herein.
SECTION 3. In order.to implement this agreement as soon -as possible so that the
leasee may complete construction of this project, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance shall become effective with one reading.
