ORDINANCE NO. 84-10-2599
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MUNICIPAL EQUIPMENT, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF
$8,500.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE GIANT VAC.-TM9800GV:FOR USE BY THE.STREET
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE'A:CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF.PADUCAH-, KENTUCKY:
That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Municipal Equipment,
Inc., -in the amount of $8,500.00, -for sale to the City of one Giant Vac TM9800GV to be
used by the Street Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed
by the Board of Commissioners on September 11, 1984, and as contained in the bid of
Municipal Equipment, Inc., dated September 18, 1984.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be.authorized to execute a contract with Municipal
Equipment, Inc. for sale to.the City of one Giant Vac authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and.all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
The purchase price for said Giant Vac shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-330-514.
This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
