ORDINANCE NO. 84-10-2596
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AND COVENANT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PADUCAH FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
WHEREAS, Paducah Federal Credit Union is the owner of certain real
property located on the east side of Short South Sixteenth Street near Clark Street,
and
WHEREAS, this location does not provide sufficient parking for employees
and customers, and
WHEREAS, Paducah Federal Credit Union has requested from the City of
Paducah permission to use a portion of land for employee parking which is designated
as a street reservation for Short South Sixteenth Street .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a lease and
covenant with Paducah Federal Credit Union to use a portion of City owned land for
employee parking' -
SECTION 2. Said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if
fully set out herein.
SECTION 3. In order to implement this agreement as soon as possible so
that the leasee may complete construction of this project, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective with one reading.
