ORDINANCE NO. 84-10-2591
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 84-7-2552, ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE
ACCEPTING THE BID OF WRIGHT'S, INC., FOR THE PURCHASE OF RECORDING EQUIPMENT TO BE
USED BY THE POLICE_DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SUCH PURCHASE"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:.
SECTION.1- That.the City of Paducah hereby amends Ordinance No. 84-7-2552,
passed by the Board of Commissioners on July 24, 1984, for the purchase of recording
equipment to be used by the Police Department, foi'the sum of $10,387.50; said bid
meeting or exceeding the requirements in the advertisement for bids which were
authorized by a Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on June 12,
1984, and as contained in the bid of Wright's. Inc., dated June 28, 1984.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with
Wright's, Inc., for the purchase by the City of Paducah of recording equipment,
according to the terms and conditions as more particularly set forth above.
SECTION 3. the purchase price for said recorder shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-210-523.
SECTION 4. This equipment has been received and installed and payment for
same is due; therefore an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall be
effective upon one reading.
