HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-9-2581158 ORDINANCE NO. 84-9-2581 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING JAMES MOBLEY PERMISSION TO TAP 84 APARTMENT UNITS LOCATED ON HOLT ROAD, McCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY, ONTO THE PERKINS CREEK SEWER LINE, AND PROVIDING FOR A PAYMENT OF A CONNECTION CHARGE WHEREAS, on February 9, 1982, the Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 82-2-2203, which established the Perkins Creek Sanitary Sewer System and connection charges thereto; and WHEREAS, James Mobley is constructing an 84 -unit apartment complex on Holt Road in McCracken County, Kentucky; and WHEREAS, James Mobley has requested permission to tap into the Perkins Creek sewer system; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. Permission is hereby granted for James Mobley to connect 84 apartment units located on Holt Road to the Perkins Creek sewer system. SECTION 2. Connection fee for the 84 units shall be the sum of Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) Dollars. SECTION 3. Any other connections to the Perkins Creek sewer system on the line between James Mobley's property and where it taps into Perkins Creek sewer system shall pay a connection fee as set out in Ordinance No. 82-2-2203. SECTION 4. The City by this Ordinance shall not assume any responsibility for the construction, maintenance, or -in any other way, for the line between the 84 apartment units and the point where it connects into the Perkins Creek sewer system. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall not grant to any other person the right to tap into said sewer line and does not change or modify any other ordinance of the City of Paducah. SECTION 6. For use of the services and facilities of the municipal sewer system James Mobley shall pay a rate of One Hundred Forty (140%) percent of the current charge for such services for customers inside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah. SECTION 7. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication in full.
