AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY. TREASURER TO PAY ASPHALT
PAVING;: INC. FOR REPAIRS- TO NORTH EIGHTH STREET SEWERS,. AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY TO EXIST
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Treasurer be authorizedto pay
Asphalt Paving, Inc.. the sum of approximately $5,700.00 for major sewer
repairs . on North 8th Street, due to a sewer collapse.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the Sewer
Depreciation and Extension Account.
SECTION 3. Due to the collapse of said sewer, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall. be in full .force and effect
upon its passage with one reading.
