ORDINANCE NO. 84-8-2573
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A -CONTRACT WIMI NATIONAL
UTILITY COMPANY FOR:THE PURCHASE OF.UP TO ONE HUNDRED(100) ADJUS-�TO-GRADE CASTINGS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a contract with
National Utility Company for the purchase of up to one hundred (100) Adjus-to-Grade
castings to be used by the.Street Department, at a price -of $76.00 each, plus
freight.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No.
10-500-340-354.
SECTION 3. Since National Utility is the only authorized dealer who can
furnish this material, competitive bidding has been waived.
SECTION 4. These materials have been received by the City, and National
Utility Company's invoice is now due; therefore an emergency is declared to exist and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage at one reading.
