HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-8-2572146 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF PARK AVENUE AND NORTH 32ND STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on May 21, 1984', entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF PARK AVENUE AND NORTH 32ND STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone to B-3, General Business Zone: Beginning at a point in the center line of Hinkleville Road (Park Avenue) and North 32nd Street; thence in an easterly direction a distance of 250 feet to a point in the center line of Hinkleville Road (Park Avenue); thence in a southerly direction along the west property line of the Heil Beauty Supply property, said line being the east property line of Park Avenue Baptist Church, a distance of 514.98 feet to a point; said point being the corner property line of Park Avenue Baptist Church and Hayes Howard; thence in a westerly direction a distance of 190.07 feet to the center line of North 32nd Street; thence in a northerly direction a distance of 459.47 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and .intent :of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall .be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
