AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE QUOTE OF ORR SAFETY EQUIPMENT COMPANY, FOR
MODIFYING, UPGRADING AND CONVERTING 18 SCOTT AIR PAKS TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH FIRE
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THEMAYORTO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. -That the City of Paducah accept the quote of Orr Safety
Equipment Company for modifying, upgrading and converting 18 Scott Air Paks for the
sum of approximately $6,500.00., for use by the Fire Department, said quote being
accepted and competitive bidding waived because -Orr Safety Equipment Company is the
single,.source certified supplier -for this area.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized. to execute a contract with Orr
Safety°.Equipment Company for services on Scott Air Paks as authorized in Section 1.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said services shall be charged to Account
Number 20-500-220-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
