AN..ORDTNANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MUNICIPAL EQUIPMENT, INC, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$.41,.185.00,:FOR-SALE TO THE -CITY OF ONE NEW 1984,20 CUBIC YARD LEACH SANICRUISER MOUNTED
ON A FORD LN-80;00-CHASSIS"FOR-USE BY THE:REFUSE DEPARTMENT,_ AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT -FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY,THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
-- SECTION 1._ -That the -City -of -Paducah accept -the bid of Municipal -Equipment,
Inc., in the amount of $41,185.00, for sale to the City of a 1984 20 cubic yard Leach
Sanicruiser mounted on a Ford LN -8000 Chassis to be used by the Refuse -Department, said
bid being in -substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for
bids as was authorized by Municipal. Order passed by the.Board of Commissioners on July
24, 1984, and as contained in the bid of Municipal Equipment, Inc., dated August 10,
1984.
SECTION 2. That the -Mayor be authorized to execute a contract.with Municipal
Equipment, Inca for sale to the City of the truck body and chassis authorized in Section
1 above, according to the specifications,_bid proposal and all contract documents_ ,-
heretofore approved and.incarporated in the bid..
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said truck shall be charged to
Account No. 20-500-420514;-.:..,1-,
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of ,title and a certified summary thereof. <
