ORDINANCE NO. 84-7-2551
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF COMMONWEALTH UNIFORMS, FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWELVE
PROTECTIVE SHIELDS TO BE USED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.,:_.That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Commonwealth
Uniforms, for the purchase of twelve (12) Protective Shields to be used by the Police Depart-
ment, for the sums of $3,132.00; said bid meeting or exceeding the requirements in the
advertisement for bids which were authorized by a Municipal Order passed by the Board of
Commissioners on June 1-2,-,1984,'and as contained in the bid of Commonwealth Uniforms, dated
June 26, 1984. _ ....
SECTION 2.1_Tha_t-the .Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with, Commonwealth
Uniforms, for the purchase by -the-City of Paducah .-of __twelve.(12) protective shields, according
to the terms andconditions._�as.,more particularly set forth above.
SECTION 4. The purchase price for.. said .protective shields shall. be charged to
Account No. 20-500-210-514.
SECTION 5. This lonlinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
