,.. AN ORDINANCE -PROVIDING -FOR THE CLOSING OF AN ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN LITTLE AVENUE AND

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH; KENTUCKY
SECTION 1. 'That- the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing of an alley
located between L=itt=le Avenue and State Street, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning -ata point in the east right-of-way line of Little Avenue;
said point being -:the., -north corner of the Robert Lee property line;
thence in a northerly direction a distance of,25 2 'feet to a point in
the east right-of-way; line of Little.Avenue, said point being the
south corner of the Howard Helm property line; thence in a southerly
direction � along' ,the, Howard Helm, - Earl Stamper Nand .Martha Lee property
lines, a distance of 265 feet to a point in an existing 16 foot
alley:; .thence in a .westerly. direc.tian :a distance of 16 feet; .thence,
in a northwesterly direction along the property lines of Ray Riley
and Robert Lee a distance of 239.1 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute

and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 82.405, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court
for a judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication -of title_and-a certified summary thereof.
