HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-7-2547119 ORDINANCE NO. 84-7-2547 -AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION, PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION OF METCALF LANE LOCATED NORTH OF HIGHWAY 60 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY -OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing of a portion of--Meteaf-Lane located north -of Highway 60 and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point, said. -point being located in the east right-of-way line of Metcalf Lane and common to the Barbara Riley and Katherine Metcalf properties, as recorded in Deed .Book 530, Page 688, and Deed Book 558, Page 10, Deed Book 567, Page 261, respectively; thenceL with said east right-of-way North 2 degrees, 25 minutes, 30 seconds, east a distance of 1,076.13 feet to an iron pin; thence north 60 degrees, 12 minutes, 33 seconds east a distance of 45.04 feet to an iron pin; thence south 2 degrees, 25 minutes, 30 seconds west a distance of 1,096.83 feet to a point in the west right-of-way line of Metcalf Lane; thence south 87 degrees, 34 minutes, 30 seconds east a distance of 40 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 82.405, an action in McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the street described in Section 1 above. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and'a certified summary thereof.
