ORDINANCE NO. 84-7-2544
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING, ADOPTING, APPROVING, ACCEPTING AND RATIFYING THE
EXECUTION OF GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT N0, 3-21-0043-01 BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES
OF AMERICA AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND COUNTY OF McCRACKEN, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED .BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That said City of Paducah, Kentucky, hereby authorizes, adopts,
approves, accepts,and ratifies the execution of Grant Agreement between the Federal
Aviation Administration on behalf of the United States of America and City of Paducah
and County of McCracken, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. That the execution of said .Grant Agreement in quadruplicate on
behalf of the City -of Paducah, Kentucky, by Joe Viterisi, Mayor, and the impression
of the official seal of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the attestation of said
execution by Louise McKinney, City Clerk, is hereby authorized, adopted, approved,
accepted and ratified.
SECTION 3. That the President of Paducah Airport Corporation is hereby
authorized to execute payment requests under this Grant Agreement on behalf of said
City of Paducah and County of McCracken, Kentucky.
SECTION 4. That the Grant Agreement referred to hereinabove shall be
attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance as though it were fully copied
herein.
SECTION 5. Due to time restraints on said Grant, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be effective upon its passage with one
reading.
