ORDINANCE NO. 84-6-2521
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN EASEMENT WITH JRB, INC.,
A KANSAS CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, is the owner of certain right of way, in
Paducah, Kentucky, referred to in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, said property has a portion of a motel and restaurant and/or lounge
facility constructed on said property,..and
WHEREAS, JRB, Inc., is desirous of obtaining an easement across said
property and the City.is :desirous of granting same.
NOW, THEREFORE;_BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into an easement with JRB,
Inc., for the use of a strip of land; and more particularly described in the easement
attached hereto and made -apart thereof as if set out in full herein. (Exhibit "A").
SECTION 2. Said, -.easements shall be approved by the Mayor.
SECTION 3. Since a sale of the adjacent property is pending, an emergency
is declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
adoption with one reading.
