ORDINANCE NO. 84-4-2506
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING, SECTIONS 10-52, "CIVIL SERVICE" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the salary of the Director of the Street Department and the -position of Supe
intendent in the Street Department were amended by Ordinance No. 84-2-2477, adopted on Februar
28,'1984; however, the amendments were inadvertently omitted by Ordinance No. 84-4-2502, adopts
on April 9, 1984, and
WHEREAS, to correct said omissions it is necessary to amend Section 10-52, Street
Department of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, as follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 10-52 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah,.
Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereaft(
read as follows:
"Sec. 10-52. Street Department - Generally.
(a) There is hereby ,authorized and created the following positions in the Street
Department, and the salaries of each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of
consecutive years of service, in this position, and upon recommendation of the City Manager:

SECTION 2. In order to correct the salary of the Street Department Director, an
emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall be retroactive to April 1, 1984.
