ORDINANCE NO. 84-4-2499
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE
COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AMERICAN
FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES, AFL-CIO, LOCAL 1586
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to
execute an amendment to the collective bargaining agreement by and between the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, and American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees,
AFL-CIO, LOCAL 1586, covering the period from April 1, 1984 through March 31, 1986; said
amendment to contract is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if set out in full
herein.
SECTION 2. Due to the contract between the City of Paducah and AFSCME having
expired, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and the reading of this ordinance at two
separate meetings is hereby suspended.
