HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-4-249746 d ORDINANCE NO. 84-4-2497 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION, PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF DEDICATED STREETS IN THE GROVE SUBDIVISION BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing of all dedicated streets within the Grove Subdivision and which are more particularly described as follows: DESPAIN AVENUE Lying North of Buckner Lane as shown on "Plat of Grove Sub- division" recorded in Plat Section "G", page 583, McCracken County Court Clerk's office, City of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, and being 25 feet either side of the following de- scribed centerline: Beginning at a point in the Northerly right-of-way line of Buckner Lane (25 feet from the centerline thereof) said point being 25 feet as measured Northwestwardly along said Northerly right-of-way line from the Southwest corner of Lot 8 in Grove Subdivision per recorded subdivision plat recorded in Plat Section "G", page -583, McCracken County Court Clerk's office; thence from said point of beginning N 12° 34' E, 740.74 feet to a point at its intersection with the centerline of Marsh Avenue and the end of Despain Avenue's centerline as shown on aforesaid "Plat of Grove Subdivision" prepared by Hunter H. Martin & Associates, dated May, 1972. MARSH AVENUE Lying Northwest of Buckner Lane as shown on "Plat of Grove Subdivision" recorded, .in Plat Section "G", page 583, McCracken County Court Clerk's office, City of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky and being 25 feet either side of the following de- scribed centerline: Beginning at a point in the Northwesterly right-of-way line of Buckner Lane (25 feet from the centerline thereof) said point being 25 feet as measured Northeastwardly along said North- westerly right-of-way line from the Northeast corner of Lot 5 in Grove Subdivision per recorded subdivision plat recorded in Plat Section "G", page 583, McCracken County Court Clerk's office; thence from said point of beginning N 47° 54' W, 205.00 feet to a goint; thence N 420 47' E, 225.00 feet to a goint; thence N 47 54' W, 437.30 feet to a point; thence N 77 26' W, 159.05 feet to a point at the end of Marsh Avenue's centerline as shown on aforesaid "Plat of Grove Subdivision" prepared by Hunter H. Martin & Associates, dated May, 1972. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 82.405, an action in McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the streets described in Section 1 above. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
