AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-56, "CIVIL SERVICE" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 10-56, Sewage Disposal Department, be, and it is hereby, amende
reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:

"Sec. 10-56. Sewage Disposal Department.
(a) There is hereby authorized and created the following positions in the Sewage Disp
Department, and the salary of each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of c
secutive years of service, in this position, and upon recommendation of the City Manager:

SECTION 2. 'Due to the extended vacation of the Chief Operator, an emergency is hereby
clared to exist and this ordinance shall be retroactive to March 4, 1984.
