ORDINANCE NO. 84-2-2473
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF LANIER BUSINESS PRODUCTS, INC., FOR THE
PURCHASE OF A LOGGER RECORDER TO BE USED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Lanier
Business Products, Inc., for the purchase of a Lanier Advocate II four channel logging
recorder to be used by the Fire Department, for the sum of $3,694.00; said bid meeting or
exceeding the requirements in the advertisement for bids which were authorized by a
Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on January 10, 1984, and as contained
in the bid of Lanier Business Products, dated January 18, 1984.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Lanier
Business Products, Inc., for the purchase by the City of Paducah of a Lanier logging
recorder, according to the terms and conditions as more particularly set forth above.
SECTION 4. The purchase price for said recorder shall be charged to Account No.
20-500-220-514.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
