ORDINANCE NO. 84-2-2466
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FROM
AT&T INFORMATION SYSTEMS, INC., TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Kentucky is changing its computer
system which requires interface equipment to AT&T Systems, Inc., and
WHEREAS, AT&T Systems, Inc., is the sole supplier of the neces-
sary equipment, and
WHEREAS, the purchase price of said equipment is payable on an
installment basis of $161.75 per month for 48 months,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a contract
with AT&T Information Systems, Inc., to purchase the equipment set out in
Exhibit "A", attached hereto.
SECTION 2. The City Treasurer is authorized to pay to AT&T
Systems, Inc., the amount of $161.75 per month for 48 months for the
purchase of said equipment.
SECTION 3. Account No. 10-500-210-215 shall be charged with the
aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 4. Due to the change of equipment used by the Common-
wealth of Kentucky, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
