ORDINANCE NO. 84-1-2464
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES -SANDERS NURSERY, FOR THE PURCHASE
OF ONE 1050 JOHN DEERE TRACTOR TO BE USED BY THE PARKS DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of James Sanders
Nursery, for the purchase of one (1) 1050 John Deere Tractor, for the sum of
$8,190.00, to be used by the Parks Department; said bid being in substantial com-
pliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on October 11, 1983, and as
contained in the bid of James Sanders Nursery, dated December 19, 1983.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with
James Sanders Nursery for the purchase of said tractor, according to the speci-
fications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incor-
porated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said tractor shall be charged to Account
Number 10-500-610-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
