ORDINANCE NO. 84-1-2459
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WAHL'S EXCAVATING COMPANY, FOR RENTAL OF
VARIOUS EQUIPMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH RENTAL
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.- That -the, City of Paducah accept the bid of Wahl's Excavating
Company, for rental of the following equipment, at the following per hour prices.
Backhoe, $42.50 Dump truck, (Tandem axle), $42.00
Motor Grader, $47.25 Pneumatic Roller, $42.00
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and adver-
tisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Com-
missioners on November 22, 1983, and as contained in the bid of Wahl's Excavating,
dated December 20, 1983. _
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Wahl's
Excavating, for rental of the equipment listed above, according to, the speci-
fications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incor-
porated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The.purchase price for said rental equipment shall be charged
to Account Numbers 10-500-320-369, Flood Construction; 20-500-330-354, Street Paving
and Construction; 10-500-3407354, Street Paving; 10-500-610-525, Expansion and
Development, Parks Department; and 10-500-420-215, Refuse Rental of Equipment.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
