ORDINANCE NO. 85-12-2781
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-4 (a), "POLICE", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
SECTION 1. That Section 25-4(a), "Manuals of department, qualification and hiring
procedures adopted", be amended and reordained so that said section shall read as follows:
"Sec. 25-4. Manuals of department, qualification and hiring procedures adopted.
(a) Department manuals. The following manuals of the police department of
Paducah, Kentucky, copies of -which have been placed on file with the city clerk,
shall be a part of this Code. to the same extent- asp ifs -copied herein at length: -
(1) Manual of Procedure of the Police Department of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, eemp-Iled-and-preeeated May-167-1964;-ae
:�8-4-896; dated December, 1985.
(2) Manual of Rules, Regulations and Duties for the Paducah,
Kentucky Police Department, compiled in December, 1964, by
Keith Yancy, assistant chief of said department;
(3) Amendment No. 1, dated February 24, 1981, Manual of
Rules, Regulations and Duties for the Paducah, Kentucky Police
Department;

(b) Qualifications and hiring procedures. 'Qualifications and Hiring Procedures
for the Paducah Police Department', received and filed by the board of
commissioners on June 12, 1984, is hereby adopted by reference as if set out in
full herein."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
