HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-11-2766465 ORDINANCE NO. 85-11-2766 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF INTERNATIONAL SALT COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $30.10 PER TON FOR APPROXIMATELY 800 TONS OF ROCK SALT, FOR SALE TO THE CITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of International Salt Company in the amount of $30.10 per ton for approximately 800 tons of rock salt, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on October 8, 1985, and as contained in the bid of International Salt Company of October 18, 1985. SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with International Salt Company for sale to the City of approximately 800 tons of rock salt at $30.10 per ton, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said rock salt shall be charged to Account No. 10-500-330-312. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
