ORDINANCE NO. 85-10-2752
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES SANDERS NURSERY IN THE AMOUNT OF
$9,705.00 FOR ANEW 750 JOHN DEERE TRACTOR WITH BACKHOE AND BUCKET, FOR SALE TO THE CITY
FOR USE BY THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of James Sanders Nursery,
in the amount of $9,705.00 for a new 750 John Deere Tractor with backhoe and bucket, to
be used by the Cemetery Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by
the Board of Commissioners on August 13, 1985, and as contained in the bid of James
Sanders Nursery of September 4,,1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with James
Sanders Nursery for sale to the City of a new 750 John Deere Tractor with backhoe and
bucket, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and
all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said tractor with backhoe and bucket shall
be charged to Account No. 10-500-430-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
