ORDINANCE NO. 85-10-2751
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC, INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $25,651.50 FOR ONE NEW DUMP TRUCK, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE
STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson
Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc., in the amount of $25,651.50 for a new dump truck, to be used
by the Street Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed
by the Board of Commissioners on September 10, 1985, and as contained in the bid of
Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc., of September 30, 1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Wilson
Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for sale to the City of a new dump truck, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said truck shall be charged to Account
No. 20-500-330-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
