ORDINANCE NO. 85-9-2750
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GENE GRIEF & SONS, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF
$18,680.00, FOR NOBLE PARK SHOP ROOF REPLACEMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH SERVICE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Gene Grief & Sons, Inc.
in the amount of $18,680.00 for Noble Park Shop roof replacement, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was
authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on July 23, 1985, and
as contained in the bid of Gene Grief & Sons, Inc., of September 5, 1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Gene Grief &
Sons, Inc. for Noble Park Shop roof replacement, authorized in Section 1 above, according
to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for such roof replacement shall be charged to
Account No. 20-500-610-525.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
