HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-10-2747416 ORDINANCE NO. 85-10-2747 AN ORDINANCE VERIFYING THE CITY OF PADUCAH'S INTENT TO REIMBURSE THE SEWER SYSTEM DEPRECIATION AND EXTENSION FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE BOND ELIGIBLE EXPENSES INCURRED IN SEWER SYSTEM EXPANSIONS DURING 1985 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 85-4-2674 authorized the Mayor to enter into a contract with Asphalt Paving, Inc. in the amount of $124,379.66 for construction of Crooked Creek Interceptor Sewers (Phase I); and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 85-7-2703 authorized the Mayor to execute a Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $26,062.00 with Asphalt Paving, Inc. for the construction of Crooked Creek Interceptor Sewers (Phase I); and WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City to reimburse the Sewer System Depreciation and Extension Fund for said expenditures from proceeds of a sewer bond issue to be issued by the City of Paducah. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 85-4-2674, authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Asphalt Paving, Inca in the amount of $124,379.66 for the construction of Crooked Creek Interceptor Sewers (Phase I), and Ordinance No. 85-7-2703, authorizing the Mayor to execute a Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $26,062.00 with Asphalt Paving, Inc. for the construction of Crooked Creek Interceptor Sewers (Phase I), are hereby clarified that it is the intent of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah to reimburse the Sewer System Depreciation and Extension Fund for all bond eligible expenses paid out of said Sewer System Depreciation and Extension Fund Account from a bond issue to be issued by the City of Paducah for the purpose of sewer extensions. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication in full.
