ORDINANCE NO. 85-10-2741
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MUNICIPAL EQUIPMENT, INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $2,396.00 FOR ONE SNOW PLOW AND IN THE AMOUNT OF $9,864.00.00 FOR TWO
(2) SALT SPREADERS, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Municipal
Equipment, Inc., in the amount of $2,396.00 for one Western Model PHIOFTH Snow
Plow and in the amount of $9,864.00 for two (2) Highway Model 9' E-2020 Salt
Spreaders to be used by the Street Department, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was
authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on August 13,
1985, and as contained in the bid of Municipal Equipment, Inc., of August 26,
1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with
Municipal Equipment, Inc. for sale to the City of one snow plow and two salt
spreaders, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the
bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for snow plow and spreaders shall be
charged to Account No. 20-500-330-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
