ORDINANCE NO. 85-9-2731
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JOE LINDLEY CONTRACTING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF
$504,465.00, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CROOKED.CREEK SEWER SYSTEM (PHASE II) IN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH SERVICE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE.CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Joe Lindley Contracting,
Inc., in the amount of $504,465.00, for construction of Crooked Creek Sewer System (Phase II)
in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, said bid being insubstantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the
Board of Commissioners on July 23, 1985, and as contained in the bid of Joe Lindley
Contracting, Inc,; dated August 15, 1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Joe Lindley
Contracting, Inc., authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The aforesaid expenditure shall be charged to the Sewer Depreciation
and Extension Fund Account and/or West End Sewer Project Bond Fund.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
